Privacy Policy
Last updated August 12, 2026
Well Aging Home is a website operated by Rachel Blindauer LLC — not a law firm. This page explains, in plain language, what information this site collects, why, and what choices you have about it.
Who This Applies To
This policy covers wellaginghome.com and any forms, newsletters, or guides offered on it. It does not cover other websites you may reach by clicking a link from here, including retailer and product pages I link to for reference or through affiliate programs.
Information I Collect
Information you give me directly. If you request the free guide, sign up for updates, or use the contact form, I collect what you enter — typically your name and email address, and any message you send.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site uses cookies and analytics tools (Google Analytics, via the MonsterInsights plugin) to understand general traffic patterns — things like which pages are visited, how long people stay, and what device or browser they’re using. This data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you.
Comments. If you ever leave a comment on a post, WordPress stores the comment content along with your name, email, and IP address, in line with standard WordPress behavior.
How I Use Your Information
- To deliver the free guide or resource you requested
- To send occasional emails — design tips, new guides, or updates related to aging-in-place design. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email
- To respond to questions or messages sent through the contact form
- To understand how visitors use the site, so I can improve it
I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Email & Marketing
Email opt-ins on this site (including the free guide) are managed through Klaviyo, an email marketing platform. When you submit your name and email, that information is stored in Klaviyo so I can send you the resource you requested and, if you don’t unsubscribe, occasional related emails. Klaviyo has its own privacy practices, which you can review directly with them.
Affiliate disclosure: Well Aging Home is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by linking to Amazon.com. Some other product links on this site may also be affiliate links to retailers I trust and personally recommend. If you click through and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only link to products I would specify in my own design work.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. This site uses them for basic functionality and for analytics (see above). You can set your browser to refuse cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do.
How Your Information Is Shared
I share information only with the service providers that help me run this site — currently Klaviyo (email), Google Analytics (site analytics), and my web hosting provider. Each handles data under their own privacy and security practices. I don’t share your information with anyone else for their own marketing purposes.
Data Retention & Security
I keep your information for as long as it’s needed for the purposes described above — for example, as long as you remain subscribed to emails. I take reasonable steps to protect the information collected through this site, though no method of transmission or storage online is ever completely secure.
Your Choices
- Unsubscribe from emails anytime using the link in any message you receive from me
- Request a copy of the information I have about you
- Ask me to delete your information from my records and mailing list
To make any of these requests, just reach out through the contact page and I’ll take care of it personally.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes to This Policy
I may update this page from time to time as the site or the tools it uses change. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
Questions about your information?
Reach out anytime — I read and respond to every message myself.
